The ultrasonic level transmitter is a non-contact,low-cost and easy-to-install measuring device. It can be applied to most industrial applications for both solids and liquids. Most important aspect of is that it is easy-to-install and low maintenance due to no moving parts.
During operation, the device emits a wave to the medium to be measured. The wave reflects off the surface and moves back to the device where a transducer calculates the distance. The distance is based on the time interval between transmission and reception of the wave. D= (334.1+0.6t) x T/2, where the D = the transmission distance; t = temperature; and T= transmission time. With 4~20mA output, it can be connected to the PLC,DSC and SCADA systems. In addition, it is

Notes for selection range of ultrasonic level sensor:
For example, in a tank for measuring the level of hydrochloric acid, due to the strong volatility of the medium, the air in the tank may suspend a large amount of fine liquid particles, causing some sound waves of the ultrasonic level gauge to scatter. For this phenomenon, when the liquid drops to a lower position, the ultrasonic level gauge may not receive echo. Therefore, it is recommended that the user increase the measurement distance by 30-50% when selecting the range. For example, for a 6-meter-high tank, it is best to select a 10-meter Uson-11 ultrasonic liquid level meter for measurement.
